About Lindsay

Lindsay was interested in law and conveyancing and was motivated to pursue it as a career, as law offered a wide diversity of interesting opportunities. Every day brings a new test of his skill set, ensuring he learns something new.

After completing his Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Law at Monash University, Lindsay completed his articles in 1985 and worked at two other law firms for six years. Lindsay then pursued a career change and purchased two Tofu factories in the mid-1990s in Melbourne and Sydney, which he ran for two and a half years before deciding that law was his preferred career. Lindsay is the founding partner of P&B Law, which he established in 1994.

Lindsay currently lends his experience and expertise in a wide range of disciplines across all areas of the practice. Lindsay understands that each client has their own separate agenda in each file and is passionate about identifying those issues and getting into the details to find the best strategic solution, whether it be from his own personal knowledge, research, his network, or going and finding the right specialist in the field.

Lindsay has acted for both developers and purchasers in the sale and purchase of many city apartment blocks, residential housing developments, large office blocks and factory developments. Many times, Lindsay has acted for developers, conducting over 150 settlements in a single day.

Lindsay has also acted in a multitude of legal disputes ranging from the Corporations Act to trusts. Insolvency, building disputes, leasing, property, partnership, debt recovery and other complex commercial matters in the Federal Court, Supreme Court, County Court, Magistrates Court, and VCAT.

Lindsay is also a member of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Society of Notaries Victoria.

Outside of the legal world, Lindsay enjoys spending his free time partaking in outdoor activities such as cycling, skiing, walking, travelling, boating and adventure weekends. Lindsay also enjoys visiting restaurants and spending time with friends and family.
