We don’t always have the opportunity to share client testimonials due to the nature of our work. However, we are excited to share the recent work we have done to support Ngwala Willumbong Aboriginal Corporation (Ngwala) in the purchase and fit-out of their new head office building led by Partner and Head of Property Christopher Mackie.
Ngwala is a State-wide Community Controlled Organisation serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. They are dedicated to delivering quality specialist alcohol and drug residential rehabilitation and outreach support services to meet the needs of Aboriginal people and their families across Victoria.
Their vision is “To gain Wellness and To Improve” by driving positive change and healing through the provision of different services such as:
- Aboriginal Alcohol and Drug Outreach Programs;
- Aboriginal Homelessness Entry Point;
- Family Violence Program;
- Public Intoxication Response;
- Social, Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB); and more
P&B Law was appointed to facilitate the negotiation and acquisition of Ngwala’s new head office in Prahran, as well as the conveyancing and settlement of the site. P&B Law was also engaged to provide advice on the building and construction contracts throughout both the purchasing and fit-out process.

A grand opening ceremony was held to celebrate the new space, and Christopher Mackie and Natalya McClung from our property team were privileged to attend as guests of honor.

The new space will allow Ngwala to support and empower even more Aboriginal communities across Victoria for many years to come. P&B Law is proud to have taken part in bringing this project to life and we look forward to continuing our work together.
